Fairgate Farm

Fairgate Farm is a volunteer-powered, urban agricultural program that has become the ‘heart’ of the West Side neighborhood. Fairgate grows thousands of pounds of fruit and vegetables annually, holds cooking classes and food-themed festivals, hosts nutritional education events, and encourages everyone in the community to come “get their hands dirty” at the farm. Fairgate Farm welcomes school groups, visitors and volunteers from organizations like the Boys & Girls Club, local corporations and anyone interested in helping out, learning and having fun throughout the planting, growing and harvest seasons. Volunteers are welcome to enjoy the organic produce at home.
